Twenty-something, from New England via an Ohio childhood; I live in Boston with my delightful housemates sandrylene and wickedtrue; I graduated a few years back from college in Boston, where I majored in Middle Eastern Studies and minored in comparative religion.

I like animals (especially cats), reading and writing (especially fantasy), martial arts, dabbling in random languages, going barefoot, semicolons, and overanalysis of fiction. I used to hang out at the Brunching UBB (now IKB), which a good number of you already know because that's how you met me. I RP as well, mostly at milliways_bar, where I play Lan Mandragoran, River Tam, Piotr Rasputin (Colossus), Trowa Barton, Honey (Haninozuka Mitsukuni) and Regan Tam, and used to play Alain Johns, Will Stanton, and Edmund Pevensie (all three now retired).

Very occasionally I post my writing on here; it's usually fanfic, and mostly drabbles, but original stuff crops up now and then too. I make no promises. Concrit is always, always welcomed; I have a thick skin and a wide streak of perfectionism. (Obligatory disclaimer: unless the story is labelled as original fiction, it's fanfic. All the characters and the worlds I write fanfic about belong to their respective original authors, and not to me; I make no profit off them, and nor do I intend to.)

Once in a blue moon I post icons, too. If you want 'em, take 'em; if an icon is meant for a specific person, I'll say so. Credit me, please, in the keywords or whatever; commenting when you take any is nice, since I like knowing what's liked, but not necessary. If you want to modify any of mine -- add brushes, add text, do whatever -- feel free! Just mention that in the credit line or something. And if you feel like letting me know, I'd love to see.
